17…DAYS OF FASHION 3RD ANNUAL MEDIA RECEPTION AND KICKOFF EVENT ANNOUNCES R&B STAR GINUWINE AND OTHER NOTABLE GUEST AND V.I.P.’S


Philadelphia, PA – August 8, 2012 - 17…Days of Fashion’s 3rd Annual Media Reception and Kickoff Event will be held at Philadelphia’s hot new spot Aura Restaurant and Lounge on August 17, 2012 at 5 pm. This year’s event will feature R&B superstar Ginuwine.

 

Ginuwine is currently in the studio recording his brand new solo album. He is also collaborating on an upcoming album with other R&B vets Tyrese and Tank to form the group TGT. When he is not laying down tracks, he is working with his charitable causes, Impact Broadway, S.P.R.U.C.E and of course 17…Days of Fashion. Ginuwine is also looking to help the next generation of stars with Bag Entertainment Company that is dedicated to helping new talent succeed in the entertainment industry.

 

In addition to Ginuwine, the 17…Days of Fashion Media Reception and Kickoff Event will feature many notable guests including but not limited to: Dezzie (Praise 103.9), Carvin Haggins (Grammy Award Winning Writer and Producer), Mike Jerrick (Fox29), Curtis Jones (Councilmen), Sixx King (Director/Contributing Writer for Essence.com), Mo’Shay LaRen (Radio Personality 100.3 WRND), Bria Marie (R&B Singer), Sharon Phillips Waxman (President of SPW Productions), Dr. Marquita Williams (Psychologist and Advisory Board Members), and Lori Wilson (NBC10).

Philadelphia, PA – August 3, 2012 - 17…Days of Fashion is proud to announce their 3rd annual Media Reception and Kickoff Event on August 17, 2012 at 5 pm. This event is sponsored by Philadelphia’s hottest venue, Aura Restaurant and Lounge, located at 628 N. Front Street.

 

This yearly event will be presented by up-and-coming Philadelphia event planner Erika McDaniel via her company and website Your Chic is Showing.  Erika says, “I am excited about partnering with 17 . . . Days of Fashion because it presents the opportunity to combine the things I love most, fashion, event planning and charity.  Any event that gives back and supports the local community is where I want to be.   I am excited to introduce my readers to 17 . . .  17…Days of Fashion Announces Their 3rd Annual Event

 

Philadelphia, PA – July 24, 2012 The Philadelphia Fashion Consortium announces its dates and events for the 3rd annual, 17...Days of Fashion.  The events will start on August 17, 2012 and continue through September 2, 2012 with over 21 fashion events produced by local industry veterans, style insiders, and fashion newcomers.    

 

Executive Director, Anthony Henderson says that he is “… personally looking forward to another successful 17...days of fashion that will bring awareness, and raise money for different charities throughout the community. 

 

17... Days of Fashion is a nonprofit organization with its 501(c)(3) application pending, that focuses on highlighting the Delaware Valley’s unique fashion sense and diverse style.  It is their desire to promote and support as many fashion-minded professionals, organizations, and individuals who seek to build and strengthen their networks, expand their knowledge base, and advance their exposure in the fashion industry.  Their mission is also to promote community, charity, and couture through all of their events. 

 

Henderson says, “Philadelphia has great fashion, and style and it will be on display for 17...  Days!”  Beginning Friday, August 17, the festivities will kick off with an invitation only Media Reception at Aura (auraphul.com) located at 28 North Front Street Philadelphia, PA.  Press are invited to attend beginning at 5 pm to meet with fashion event producers and other notable guests to discuss the coming week’s events and conduct interviews.  The party will then continue with V.I.P’s and special guests beginning at 6 pm – 8pm for additional cocktails and conversation.
